It’s the one event on the Australian drag racing calendar that attracts some of the biggest workshops from both Australia and overseas and produces more excitement in one day than any other event in the world. I’m talking about none other than the annual Haltech Compak Attak held at the famous Sydney Dragway formally Western Sydney International Dragway (WSID). With the event featuring everything from 6 second passes, Sydney’s wildest show cars and beautiful women strutting their stuff, Compak Attak definitely lived up to its name as it does year in year out.

It’s the one weekend of the year that some of Australia’s most modified cars and bikes grace Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway and put on a serious show for thousands of spectators. With everything from custom street machines, drift cars, custom choppers and full house drag cars, the annual event never fails to produce plenty of excitement with its array of activities. With a new location for this year’s event, Show Car Sunday was ready to set the bar for modified car shows in Sydney and on offer were some of Australia’s finest show cars. With the event heavily dominated by two of Sydney’s workshops, of course being Queen St Smash Repairs and 2SUS Custom Resprays, the event sure had its fair share of show stoppers on display.

Here at Balabka Design the news is always positive but a change of heart lately can be blamed for this ‘BADNWZ’. When this car was purchased back in 2005 stock as a rock, I don’t think anyone would have predicted it would turn into a twin turbo monster pushing close to 400RWKW. I guess that’s what makes it a more than worthy feature car.
