Here at Balabka Design the news is always positive but a change of heart lately can be blamed for this ‘BADNWZ’. When this car was purchased back in 2005 stock as a rock, I don’t think anyone would have predicted it would turn into a twin turbo monster pushing close to 400RWKW. I guess that’s what makes it a more than worthy feature car.
As mentioned above, owner Anthony purchased this Holden VY Clubsport back in 2005 bone stock. With intentions to modify the car, Anthony began looking at his options and gathering ideas on what to do first. Wanting to keep the car street registered, a set of chrome 20 inch wheels were fitted and the car was lowered. The modifications had started but this black beauty was nowhere near complete!
The next step was to get some extra power under this beast and this came in the form of a Gen-TTR Twin Turbo kit from Jakes Performance. The two GTDW 2848 turbos along with two GFB Bovus Maximus blow-off valves, 62lbs Siemens Decker injectors, aeromotive fuel rails and a Walbro in tank fuel pump all help this Clubsport push close to 400RWKW. The exhaust system was fitted by City Custom Exhaust and consists of twin 3’’ exhausts which come into a single 4’’ exhaust. Just as the car started to take shape nicely, Anth pulled out another trick and fitted a set of Giovanna Dalar wheels measuring in at 20’’x8.5’’ on the front and a whopping 20’’x10’’ on the rear. The car was then sent to J Racing to have the rear guards pumped and some custom bonnet vents were also made.
Pumping close to 400RWKW day in day out, owner Anth said he is more than happy with the way the car has finished up. The black on black look really gives this black beauty plenty of attitude and if approached by this on the street, I’m afraid it’s all ‘BADNWZ’ from there.
